Revision of Jxiv Submission Guidelines Effective June 1, 2026

2026-05-25

We would like to inform you that the Jxiv Submission Guidelines will be revised effective Monday, June 1, 2026.

The main revisions are as follows:

・Revisions Related to Submissions

A limit will be established on the number of submissions permitted per month by a single submitter.

・Revisions Related to Screening

Preprints and associated data will, in principle, be made publicly available within 48 hours of submission (excluding JST holidays).

However, in cases where the volume of submissions increases and processing becomes congested, where additional time is required for content verification, or where submitters are requested by the Jxiv administration to make corrections or provide confirmation (see related regulation 3-8), it may take longer than 48 hours for the content to be published.

As of May 2026, due to a significant increase in submissions, we are currently operating with a target of publishing submissions within 15 business days for the time being.

The revised Jxiv Submission Guidelines will come into effect on June 1, 2026, and the updated procedures will apply to all submissions made on or after that date.
