Research and Teaching in Language Studies in an Age of Open Science

This article focuses on the growing significance of preprint sharing for research and teaching in language studies in an age of open science. The authors firstly touch upon the background of the establishment of Jxiv, a new preprint server (Section 2), discuss ethical aspects of sharing preprints (Section 3), and introduce how to teach research ethics to graduate students (Section 4). Then, they discuss the merits and drawbacks of using ResearchGate by comparing it to the institutional repositories (Section 5).
