高周期14族半金属元素-EDTAの結晶構造

エチレンジアミン四酢酸(EDTA)の金属キレートは、通常、配位数(CN)が6で、ディスクリートな錯体として表される。一方、EDTAがキレートする重14族元素の陽イオン(重テトレル)は、単量体構造から配位高分子まで様々な結合様式をもつことがX線結晶構造解析から明らかにされてきた。その一部は総説で体系化されているが、重14族元素-EDTA錯体の全体像を明らかにすることはできていない。そこで、3つのGe(IV)-、2つのSn(II)-、5つのSn(IV)-、21個のPb(IV)-EDTA(CN 5-8) の異なる対イオンや(擬)ハロゲンとの重元素テトレル-EDTAキレート錯体の結晶構造を簡単にまとめ、その多様な結合様式を示すことにする。
