多様言語アプリケーションからのGPU自動オフロード手法の検討と評価

GPU、FPGA、またはメニーコアCPUなど、スモールコアのCPU以外のヘテロジニアスハードウェアの利用が増えています。しかし、ヘテロジニアスハードウェアを利用するには、プログラマがOpenMP、CUDA、およびOpenCLを活用するのに十分な技術力を持っている必要があります。これに基づいて、私たちは以前に、配置されるハードウェアに応じて、一度記述したコードを自動的に変換、構成し、高性能に動作させることを可能にする環境適応型ソフトウェアを提案しました。しかし、オフロードのソース言語は主にC/C++言語アプリケーションであり、さまざまな言語アプリケーションに共通するオフロードの研究はありませんでした。本稿では、新たな課題として、C言語だけでなくPythonとJavaでも、さまざまな言語アプリケーションを自動的にオフロードする共通の方法を検討します。さまざまな言語の複数のアプリケーションで提案方法の有効性を評価します。
