Internal Medicine published by the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine achieved its highest Impact Factor ever in 2022. To clarify the reason for the record highest Impact Factor, I performed an N-gram analysis of 6,868 articles published in the last 10 years (2014-2023) by text mining the article titles and author keywords. In addition, I visualized the research trends in the last 10 years by using Word Cloud technology. As a result, I have confirmed that the analysis and visualization of author keywords are useful for understanding research trends.
