We describe a general covariant uncertainty relation. We introduce a vector that has a special relationship on a complex manifold represented by a Hermitian metric tensor, and show that the Cauchy-Schwarz inequality for this vector connects it to the curvature of space in a general covariant form. The uncertainty relation obtained by such a mechanism is related to the curvature of space, but is a general covariant relation. We describe a model that uses this relationship to reproduce the uncertainty principle of quantum theory, and the phenomena predicted by this model.
