Apology for increase in number of displayed preprint downloads

The security measures implemented by Jxiv at the end of October 2022 resulted in an increase in the number of displayed preprint downloads from the end of October to the beginning of January. Therefore, the Downloads graph displayed on the landing page shows approximately 100 more accesses per month as a result of the security measures. (The numbers for October and January are lower than this because only a few days were affected by this issue.)
Since January 4, countermeasures have been implemented and the number of accesses due to security measures is no longer counted.
The above-mentioned increase in the number of accesses will be corrected at a later date during maintenance.
