A Regional Practical Research through the Fieldwork in Natori District, Ikata Town, Ehime Prefecture

The purpose of this paper is to analyze achievements and problems of a regional practical research through the fieldwork in Natori District, Ikata Town, Ehime Prefecture. Some undergraduate students participated in field investigations in this region, and they grasped regional characteristics and enchantments. They also got confidences by community residents. The students made a presentation at “Sadamisaki-taikenhaku” that was taken place by Ikata Town, they got interests by associate participants and excellent presentation skills. Student engagement through the fieldwork can achieve enhancement of regional practical research on cross-interaction between students and regional community.
