CMB+DESI自由N_eff枠組みにおけるアーカイブ済み解析変更に対する事後分布応答の方向性

抄録

本研究では、CMBおよびDESI DR2を用いた宇宙論解析で過去に実行・保存された6種類の解析条件変更について、事後分布が多次元パラメータ空間内でどの方向へ変化したかを比較する。

基準となる解析には、N_effを自由パラメータとし、ニュートリノ質量和をSigma m_nu = 0.06 eVに固定したCMB+DESI DR2事後分布を用いた。共通する7つの宇宙論パラメータについて事後平均の変位を測定し、同じ基準事後分布内でH0と相関する局所的な方向に平行な成分と、それに直交する成分へ分解した。この量は統計的有意度や新しいテンション指標ではなく、解析条件変更に対する事後分布応答を共通座標系で記述するための診断量である。

DESI DR2を追加した場合には、H0と相関する方向への正の成分と、それに直交する大きな成分の双方が見られた。一方、DESIを含む解析からlow-l EE偏光情報を除去した場合、その変位は主としてH0相関方向に直交していた。この特徴は、両端点へ共通のPlanck型Gaussian tau感度重み付けを適用した後にも維持されたが、全変位量はD = 3.579からD = 0.636へ大きく縮小した。有限長MCMCチェインを用いた数値診断は、この縮小と直交成分優勢という定性的結果とは整合したが、重み付け後の小さな平行成分の符号や厳密な直交性までは確定できなかった。

また、BBN計算・軽元素存在量尤度をまとめて変更した場合、およびニュートリノ質量和を非負の自由パラメータとした場合には、共通7次元空間においてH0相関方向への負の射影が得られた。これらの結果は、保存済みチェイン、選択した基準事後分布、および後方視的に構成された6比較に条件付けられた記述的結果である。6つの保存済み基準事後分布を用いた追加確認でも、low-l EE除去後の応答が主として直交方向にあるという定性的分類は維持されたが、基準選択に対する一般的不変性を意味するものではない。
