本稿は柳岡・白砂 (2024, 心理学評論) へのコメンタリである。事前登録 (プレレジ) は心理学研究における再現性と透明性の向上に寄与するため重要性が高まっている。しかし，発達心理学分野では分野特有の原因によりプレレジ率が低い現状があるという。プレレジは，方法論のさらなる発展，国内和文誌の制度整備，そしてプレレジを習慣化することで，我々が世界と伍する心理学研究を実施していくための味方となるだろう。
