後期第一系列遷移金属-EDTAキレートの比較構造解析

抄録

ケンブリッジ結晶学データセンター(CCDC)で公開されているデータに基づいて、エチレンジアミン四酢酸(EDTA)でキレートされた後期第一系列遷移金属錯体の結晶構造を概説した。その結果、FeIII-EDTAが17種、FeII-EDTAが6種、CoIII-EDTAが21種、CoII-EDTAが14種、Ni-EDTAが13種、Cu-EDTAが22種、Zn-EDTAが6種の合計99種類の錯体の結晶構造が配位数5〜7を有することが判明した。多くは配位数が6であり(70/99)、これらのキレートの配位座数は四座、五座、六座である。分析化学では、典型的に学んだ六座配位子と配位数が6の錯体は、以前のレビューに続き、後期第一系列遷移金属-EDTA錯体の主要な化学種ではなく、わずか33例(約33%)であることが判明した。
