Entrepreneurial Survival Strategies in the VUCA Era

Exploring Resource Acquisition through Storytelling and Warm-Glow Theory

本研究は系統的レビューを通して、資源が制約された早期段階の企業家が、経済的シグナルのみに頼らずに、いかにして正当性と投資を獲得するか、という重要な問いに取り組んだ。特に、ストーリーテリングと向社会的志向による正当性に焦点を当て、①企業家のストーリーテリングが投資家の向社会的動機を呼び起こすこと、②ウォーム・グローが経済的リターンが曖昧なベンチャーに対する投資決定の調整効果となりえる事、③投資獲得において企業家の向社会的志向と経済的シグナルの両立が難しいことを見出した。我々が行った系統的レビューにおいて、向社会的文脈では経済的シグナルは投資獲得に負の効果を持つことが確認された。強い経済的シグナルがない状況において、ウォーム・グロー効果は投資獲得における調整変数として出現することを示唆し、正当性の構築におけるストーリーテリングの役割を明らかにする。本稿は、投資家の動機に関する斬新な視点を提供し、VUCA時代において向社会的かつ感情的なアピールを通じて企業家が競争優位性を構築するための実践的な示唆を提供する。
